International Neurotoxin Association Travel Grants for TOXINS 2021 Conference
Gothenburg, Sweden, 13-16 January 2021
For TOXINS 2021, the International Neurotoxin Association (INA) is pleased to offer 20 travel grants to young investigators, including basic scientists, translational scientists, and clinicians. Each grant will cover up to US $1,000 of travel expenses, which must be verified by submission of original travel receipts following the meeting. In addition, grant awardees will receive free registration for the meeting.
The travel grants are intended to offset the cost of attending the meeting for those individuals who have no other source of funding or sponsorship, including support by pharmaceutical or medical device companies. Grant recipients will be selected by the TOXINS 2021 Basic Science and Clinical Subcommittees.
In order to be eligible, applicants for travel grants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold membership in the INA. (Applicants can join at the time of application submission. There is no membership fee)
- Currently be in training or within 5 years of completing formal course work/training (ie, PhD, master’s program, Residency, or Fellowship). (To qualify for a reduced registration fee, please upload documents/credentials below, which certify your current academic status.)
- Submit an abstract for the TOXINS 2021 meeting
- Have no other sponsorship or source of funding for travel
Please submit your abstract by Thursday, 30 July 2020, by 12:00 midnight Eastern Daylight Time. Select “Yes” when asked if you are applying for a travel grant. Applicants will receive notification of the decision on their applications by Friday, 28 August 2020.
