General Information

The International Neurotoxin Association’s third international conference—TOXINS 2017: Basic Science and Clinical Aspects of Botulinum and Other Neurotoxins—will be held 18-21 January 2017, in Madrid, Spain. The Meliá Castilla Hotel is the official conference venue and headquarters hotel where all meeting sessions will take place.

Conference Venue

The Meliá Castilla in the heart of Madrid, offers comfortable accommodations in a setting of classic décor. Its strategic location is just minutes from the Paseo de la Castellana, one of the city’s main avenues, 15 minutes from Barajas Airport and the IFEMA exhibition center, and near the major Chamartin train station and the Real Madrid soccer team’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Attire

Semi-casual business wear is recommended for the TOXINS 2017 conference. We suggest you dress comfortably and have a jacket or sweater available in case you find the meeting rooms too cold.

Letter of Invitation

The INA cannot intervene with either the US Embassy abroad or with the US State Department on behalf of any participant. However, if you need a personal letter of invitation to attend the meeting, contact Customer Service at info@neurotoxins.org. A request for a letter must be sent in writing on official letterhead and include your name, hospital/institution, complete mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and any other specific information required for your country. If you will be presenting a paper or giving a talk during the conference, please include the date/time, title of your talk, and the session in which it will be presented. If you are exhibiting or attending the conference, please indicate that in your request. Attendees from China should include their passport number, date of birth, and gender.
