EASY AND EFFICIENT TRANSPORT

A FUNCTIONAL AND ACCESSIBLE AIRPORT
With non-stop flights from 165 international destinations and more than 4,000 weekly departures, Copenhagen Airport is Scandinavia’s largest airport and is accessible from anywhere in the world. Travelers have voted it ‘Europe’s best airport’ numerous times. The airport’s efficiency, punctuality, and well-connected flight routes make it easy for congress delegates to travel to Copenhagen. And with a Metro and train station located above and beneath the arrival hall, fast transport to the heart of the city is simple.

ARRIVAL BY LAND
If keeping on the ground, Copenhagen is well-connected to the rest of Europe by both the European highway network and railway system. And the Oresund Bridge gives easy road access to Sweden.

AIRPORT TO CITY CENTRE IN A FLASH
Copenhagen Airport has both Metro and train stations conveniently located in the arrival hall. Trains run to Copenhagen Central Station every 20 minutes at a travel time of 14 minutes. The Metro runs around the clock and gets you from the airport to the city centre in just 13 minutes.

GETTING AROUND IN COPENHAGEN
Choose from Copenhagen’s extensive public transportation options that easily link the whole city to venues, hotels and the airport.

Move by metro
The Copenhagen Metro runs throughout the capital city area 24/7. In 2019, a new route will open that connects the city centre even better.

Take the train
Trains have routes through all of Copenhagen’s neighbourhoods, to the airport and across the country. Excursions within and beyond the city – to desti nations such as Roskilde, Elsinore or the Swedish city of Malmoe – are easily accessible from the central station.

Cruise by cycle
Explore the city the local way – via 400km of bike lanes. Copenhageners love to bike and, with 100 city bike locations and many opportunities to rent, procuring a bicycle is easy.

Try a taxi
Taxis are easy to hail on the street and most accept all major credit cards. All taxis are clearly licensed and operate at fixed mileage rates.

Walk and wander
Thanks to ample pavement, street crossings, pedestrian zones and its compact size, Copenhagen is easy to tour by foot and safe to walk around in both day and night.

City Pass online – see more here. Or alternatively buy tickets at the Metro/train stations.

ARRIVING AT BELLA CENTER
Bella Center Copenhagen is approximately 7 km from Copenhagen airport. Metro, public trains, public busses, taxis and car rental are all available modes of transport. A taxi from Copenhagen Airport to Bella Center Copenhagen will cost about €18 and take 12 minutes depending on traffic.

Shuttle service for delegates
Bella Center offers a shuttle bus connecting Copenhagen Airport with Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers and AC Hotel Bella Sky Copenhagen. It runs twice an hour and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis for hotel and conference guests.  Alert the driver that you are an attendee at TOXINS 2019 Conference.
