Dr. Min Dong is an Assistant Professor of Urology at Boston Children’s Hospital and a member of staff of the Department of Microbiology, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Dong graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1992. He gained a doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2004 and conducted postdoctoral studies there from 2004 to 2009.
Dr. Dong was recruited to the New England Primate Research Center of Harvard Medical School in 2009 and joined Boston Children’s Hospital in 2015. His lab focuses on both the basic mechanisms of bacterial toxins and engineering toxin-based therapeutics.
