General Information

TOXINS 2024 7th International Conference—Basic Science and Clinical Aspects of Botulinum and Other Neurotoxins—will be held 17-20 January 2024, in Berlin, Germany.  The Estrel Hotel Conference is the official headquarters. The conference sessions will take place at ECC Estrel Conference Center, which is connected to the Estrel Berlin hotel.

Estrel Berlin

The hotel is located on Sonnenallee 225, 12057 Berlin, Germany.

After you complete your registration, you will receive your hotel link to reserve your room.

Semi-casual business wear is recommended for the TOXINS 2024 conference. We suggest you dress comfortably and have a jacket or sweater available in case you find the meeting rooms too cold.

Wireless internet access will be complimentary in the sleeping rooms and conference session rooms.

Voltage

In Germany the supply voltage is 230V. If the appliance or its power supply are not dual voltage rated, the single voltage appliance will have to be used alongside a voltage transformer or converter to allow the appliance to work safely and properly (unless the appliance operates at 230V).

Parking at the Estrel

The Estrel has its own underground parking garage for a fee of €22 per day.

Directions By Car

From the West/South

When approaching Berlin from the A2 or A9 autobahns, switch on to the A10 / Berliner Ring, then onto the A115 and afterwards onto the A100 in the direction Wilmersdorf / Kurfürstendamm / Flughafen BER. Take exit 24 “Buschkrugallee” and turn right at the traffic lights into Buschkrugallee and then immediately right into Grenzallee. After 1.6 km turn left onto Sonnenallee, after approx. 500 m the Estrel is on the right-hand side.

From the North

Take the A24 Dreieck Havelland interchange onto A10 / Berliner Ring toward Berlin, then change onto the A111 autobahn in the direction Berlin-Zentrum / Berlin-Reinickendorf. Shortly afterwards take the A100 autobahn. Take exit 24 “Buschkrugallee” and turn right at the traffic lights into Buschkrugallee and then immediately right into Grenzallee. After 1.6 km turn left onto Sonnenallee, after approx. 500 m the Estrel is on the right-hand side.

From the East

When approaching Berlin from the A13 or A12 / A10 autobahns, take the “Schönefelder Kreuz” interchange onto the A113 toward Berlin-Zentrum. Take exit 24 “Buschkrugallee” and turn right at the traffic lights into Buschkrugallee and then immediately right into Grenzallee. After 1.6 km turn left onto Sonnenallee, after approx. 500 m the Estrel is on the right-hand side.

From Berlin-Brandenburg Airport BER Terminal 1 – 2

Take the A113 autobahn in the direction “Berlin-Zentrum”. Take exit 24 “Buschkrugallee” and turn right at thetraffic lights into Buschkrugallee and then immediately right into Grenzallee. After 1.6 km turn left onto Sonnenallee, after approx. 500 m the Estrel is on the right-hand side.

From Berlin-Brandenburg Airport BER Terminal 5

When leaving the airport go right onto ”Am Seegraben” / B96a, then left onto the A113 autobahn in the direction Berlin-Zentrum. Take exit 24 “Buschkrugallee” and turn right at the traffic lights into Buschkrugallee and then immediately right into Grenzallee. After 1.6 km turn left onto Sonnenallee, after approx. 500 m the Estrel is on the right-hand side.

Inner city Berlin (within the S-Bahn Ring commuter train line) is categorised as a Low Emission Zone in which only cars with an official green emissions – control sticker are permitted. The Estrel is located outside this zone and no such sticker is required.

Public transport tickets

To reach the Estrel using Berlin’s public transport facilities, you will require a single journey ticket for the AB zone costing 3.00 euros (Exception: Please note that when travelling from the Berlin-Brandenburg Airport BER, you will require an ABC zone ticket costing 3.80 euros). You can purchase tickets at the BVG service counters, the BVG ticket vending machines located in the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations or on busses directly from the driver.

A request for a letter must be sent in writing on official letterhead and include your name, hospital/institution, complete mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and any other specific information required for your country.
