Dr. Nowell Solish is an Assistant Professor and Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Toronto, and the Co-Director of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Clinic at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, Canada. He is a recognized expert in the field of cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery and is also well known for his work with botulinum toxin products and other cosmetic injectables.
Dr. Solish completed training in dermatology at the University of Toronto, and subsequently specialized in surgical dermatology at the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia, focusing on cosmetic and skin cancer dermatologic surgery.
He is the Past President of the Canadian Society for Dermatologic Surgery, a founding board member of the International Hyperhidrosis Society, and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
He has published in many peer-reviewed journals and lectures regularly on dermatologic surgery techniques at local, national, and international medical meetings. Dr. Solish is also a widely quoted media spokesperson on issues of surgical and cosmetic dermatology. His interviews include appearances on ABC News, CBC news, Global Television, The National, CBC Radio, and Citytv.
